CT TECH/RAD TECH (REQ 3359)

This CT TECH / RAD TECH position is located in our Imaging Department.

Hours:

This position is a benefited 40 hour per week position, rotating shift with variable hours (not night shift, except for occasional backup). Schedule is four 10 hour days in a row, Monday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Friday.

Salary Range:

$41.91 – $57.60/hr  Rate quoted is for 2-30 years of experience, with minimum of ARRT RT certification plus CT certification (CT cert needs to be obtained within two years of start date). There is a higher rate of pay for additional certifications (ie. MRI, Ultrasound, etc). PLUS shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

What you'll do:

• Be a member of the Diagnostic Imaging team that provides clinical radiographs as directed by physicians or radiologists in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Prepare patient and adjust equipment as necessary for the performance of x-ray examination.  
• Identify and instruct patient regarding procedures. 
• Perform Quality Assurance tasks as directed by Imaging Director. 
• Prepares and maintains departmental records and reports.

What you'll need:

• Must have two years current experience as an ARRT Rad Tech.
• Must be ARRT certified in the specialty of CT, or be registry eligible within one year and registered within two years.
• Successfully complete an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training course. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and maintain annual registration. Must keep current with CEU credits as required by the ARRT
