This RAD TECH (R) position is located in our Imaging Department.

Hours:

This position is a non-benefited, Per Diem position with variable hours. 

Salary Range:

$43.09 – $61.02/hr**  Rate quoted is for less than 1 year to 30 years of experience, with a minimum of an ARRT R.T. certification. There is a higher rate of pay for additional certifications (ie. CT, MRI, Ultrasound). PLUS shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

**Rate quoted above is for a non-benefited Casual position. An additional 15% increase in pay has been added in lieu of benefits. 

What you'll do:

  • Be a member of the Diagnostic Imaging team that provides clinical radiographs as directed by physicians or radiologists in accordance with established standards and practices.
  • Prepare patient and adjust equipment as necessary for the performance of x-ray examination.  
  • Identify and instruct patient regarding procedures. 
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks as directed by Imaging Director. 
  • Prepare and maintain departmental records and reports.

What you'll need:

  • Hold and maintain an ARRT (R) certification.
  • Successfully complete an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training course.
  • Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and maintain annual registration.
  • Keep current with CEU credits as required by the ARRT
