RN - OB/GYN CLINIC (REQ 3581)

This Women's Health - Registered Nurse position is located at our Homer Medical Center - OB/GYN Clinic. 

Hours:

This is a 40 hour per week day shift position, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.  

Starting Salary: 

$43.94 - $62.22/hr and up (rate of pay range quoted is for less than one year up to 30 years of experience, rate depends on years of experience, PLUS shift differentials where applicable)

What you'll do:

• Be part of our team-based approach to providing patient-centered care!
• Women’s Health Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to plan and provide patient care to OB/GYN patients at Homer Medical Center according to established standards and practices.
• Provide care to clients of Homer Medical Center/South Peninsula Hospital (HMC/SPH).
• Perform all of the activities required to provide OB/GYN patient care in the clinic setting and works in other areas as appropriate based on experience and training.   

What you'll need:

• A current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Alaska.
• Maintain current with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Speaking, listening, and basic writing skills are required to communicate with others, and to document care given.
• Numerical ability is required to calculate drug dosages.
