This CT TECH / RAD TECH position is located in our Imaging Department.
**RELOCATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION - inside or outside of Alaska**
Hours:
This position is a benefited 40 hour per week position, days/weekdays. The hours are 0830-1900.
Salary Range:
$41.91 – $57.60/hr Rate quoted is for 2-30 years of experience, with minimum of ARRT RT certification plus CT certification (CT cert needs to be obtained within two years of start date). There is a higher rate of pay for additional certifications (ie. MRI, Ultrasound, etc). PLUS shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.
What you'll do:
- Be a member of the Diagnostic Imaging team that provides clinical radiographs as directed by physicians or radiologists in accordance with established standards and practices.
- Prepare patients and adjust equipment as necessary for the performance of x-ray examination.
- Identify and instruct patient regarding procedures.
- Perform Quality Assurance tasks as directed by Imaging Director.
- Prepares and maintains departmental records and reports.
- Position will be a muti-modality tech with shfits assigned as needed in CT and Xray.
What you'll need:
- Must have two years current experience as an ARRT Rad Tech.
- Must be ARRT certified in the specialty of CT, or be registry eligible within one year and registered within two years.
- Successfully complete an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training course. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and maintain annual registration. Must keep current with CEU credits as required by the ARRT
