DISHWASHER (REQ 3589)

This Dishwasher position is located in our Nutritional Services Department.

Hours:

This is a full-time 32 hours per week benefited position (.8 FTE, 64 hours per pay period.) Hours are Friday through Monday, from 12pm to 8:30pm.  

Starting Salary: 

$16.03 - $22.70/hr and up (Rate is for less than one, up to 30 years of experience. Rate is based on years of experience.)

What you'll do:

• Be responsible for making sure all dishes, pots, pans and etc. are correctly washed, dried and put away.
• Serve and recover meal trays. Meal carts will be delivered back to the kitchen after trays have been recovered.
• Disperse late trays, snacks and beverages between meals.
• Appropriately fill in dishwashing temperature logs.

What you'll need:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED (contact us for exceptions to this).
• Previous dishwashing experience is desirable, but not required.
• The ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Good physical health with the ability to lift heavy objects is required.
• Maintain a clean, well groomed and professional appearance.
• Obtain and maintain a State of Alaska Food Worker's Card within 30 days of employment.
