This Physical Therapist - Generalist position is located in our Rehabilitation Department.
Hours:
This is a part-time 20 hour per week (additional hours possible), benefited position with variable hours.
Salary Range:
$48.71 – $68.98/hr and up (rate of pay range quoted is for 0-30 years of experience)
Plus shift differentials where applicable.
What you'll do:
- Provide evaluation and treatment for hospital inpatients in Acute Care, outpatients, and residents of the hospital Long Term Care unit, according to the professional standards of the American Physical Therapy Association. Evidence based, optimum patient care is a top priority.
Provide treatment by referral from physicians, and is under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation
Assist in the supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants or Aides, Long Term Care Restorative Aides, and volunteers or students.
Interact daily with the public, other employees, patients and families, and physicians. A professional demeanor is required at all times.
What you'll need:
- Requires a degree from an accredited university recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- One or two years of experience is preferred. We are open to hiring new graduates!
- Current Alaska Physical Therapy license (or obtain an Alaska PT license prior to hire date), and BLS certification are required.
