This RAD TECH position is located in our Radiology Department.

Hours:

This position is a non-benefited, Casual position with variable hours. 

Salary Range:

$41.04 – $52.61/hr**  Rate quoted is for less than 1 year to 20 years of experience, with a minimum of an ARRT R.T. certification. The rate of pay is higher for  more years of experience and for additional certifications (ie. CT, MRI, Ultrasound). PLUS shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

**Rate quoted above is for a non-benefited Casual position. An additional 15% increase in pay has been added in lieu of benefits. 

What you'll do:

  • Be a member of the Diagnostic Imaging team that provides clinical radiographs as directed by physicians or radiologists in accordance with established standards and practices.
  • Prepare patient and adjust equipment as necessary for the performance of x-ray examination.  
  • Identify and instruct patient regarding procedures. 
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks as directed by Imaging Director. 
  • Prepare and maintain departmental records and reports.

What you'll need:

  • Hold and maintain an ARRT (R.T.) certification.
  • Successfully complete an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training course.
  • Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and maintain annual registration.
  • Keep current with CEU credits as required by the ARRT
