The South Peninsula Hospital is a combined 22-bed Acute Care Critical Access Hospital and 28-bed Long Term Care facility located at the southern end of the Kenai Peninsula in South-Central Alaska.  The technician will typically work 10–12 hour night shifts independently, with occasional on-call or day shifts as needed. While physical demands are generally light, the technician may be exposed to chemical vapors and infectious agents, including bloodborne pathogens. The environment is calm and controlled, making it ideal for focused, detailed work.
